Floral | BurdaStyle Wrap Dress

Typically I am not the sewist to revisit a pattern but I've been doing it more and more since getting hooked on the Marlborough bra. I've always felt like there are so many new patterns for me to try and at the moment there isn't one that I'm dying to sew up. Perfect time to try and perfect something in my stash. I've been meaning to experiment with prints for sometime and I just needed to find the right one. I've been turning more and more to smaller stores on Etsy & have been finding some gems that my local stores do not carry.

This pattern you've now seen for the third time. I'm actually counting it as the second because my first time around the fabric didn't suit the pattern (not enough drape). I'm already planning another version in a fluid black fabric and my sister has requested a navy one as well. Better get to work!

  3. Hi. You did an awesome job with this dress. It looks great. I was wondering if you left out the bust darts also? And how did you do the hemming in the neckline?

    1. I kept the darts and just turned and stitched the edges for the neckline :)
