You all know that I don't attend many blogging events, but the Neiman Marcus event is one that I don't miss. I'll take any excuse to look at expensive clothes up close. Why? Because I love to see the construction details, and I also admire the amount of work that goes into some of these garments. Think of it as some serious inspiration, reminding me to spend just as much time on the inside of an item as the outside.
As we all know, fashion is cyclical, but it feels like not much has changed this time around. Looks like a few of my most recent sewing projects fit this bill! Bright colors, florals, and statement sleeves still ring in high on the list. Thankfully, these Balenciaga platforms were nowhere in sight.
