Pretty much my staple pieces. The jacket for whenever its cold, along with the sweater and black skinny pants that go with anything ($12!!!). I grabbed these shoes awhile ago from Forever 21 because they reminded me of that Topshop pair that I saw on Lulu and Your Mom, but haven't quite gotten around to wearing them until today. Shockingly comfortable to walk in...even tested them in the grass!

Had a fun tea party themed shoot with a photographer here in San Diego last week, who was kind enough to take some photos for my blog! You can see her work here. I can't wait to share the rest of the photos with you all!

I had been waiting for the right blouse and shoes to wear with these shorts that Kasil Workshop had sent me so when I finally found these two, I was super stoked! Really comfortable and high quality...and I mean it!

Ran to Best Buy today to grab a new camera lens. So far, I really like it! You can get it here. Can't wait to mess around with it some more! Also, I'm living in these Kasil shorts. New favorite pair!

Finally finished sewing this cape. The original pattern ended up being really confusing so I kind of just went with it and down my own path. Usually this means that I turn the project into something past the point of return, but it actually worked! I know it's summer time but oh well. I've been working on it for awhile now so I have been eager to share it with you all.

This outfit includes two of my new staples...the jeans, and the shoes. The jeans can be worn down or cuffed which is nice because I don't have any other jeans that look good cuffed. The shoes are super fun also because of the pointed toe. I really enjoy the way it makes your feet look. I've been eyeing the pairs at Zara online but these cheap ones from a local store will just have to do!
