Self sewn jacket, Forever 21 blouse, Sam Edelman heels
I've been meaning to make this jacket for a long, long time. I probably could have easily made my own version of it, but I wanted to find a pattern so that it could be sewn properly. I've never worked with long faux fur and not that I wasn't expecting anything different, but that was a hassle! My living room floor is still covered in pieces of it. I took this project real slow so that I didn't risk messing it up, which often happens. It took a couple hours to cut and sew all the pieces together, but it was well worth the time. I also lined this one and did a well enough job that I'm contemplating sewing and selling this one, for real this time. I grabbed none other than my favorite Shelley in the world, Therapeutic Smiles, to take these photos for me. She's pretty much awesome!
Love the colour of your beautiful crisp shirt!
