Wore my new StyleArc Blaire blouse to check out the new most hip cafe in North Park. Expect to see everyone on their phones here taking photos for Instagram. Clearly I am no different because here I am, posing away! It's called Holy Matcha and has a little bit more than matcha, as you can see from the products behind me.
I have to say, I really love this sewing pattern. I omitted the middle seam in the shirt as well as the overlay because I didn't think I needed it. I also didn't feel like matching stripes. Love how this shirt turned out! Collars are becoming easier and easier for me to sew. You know, practice makes perfect. I think I may have added some width when putting on the button band, resulting in the top of the shirt not fitting the collar. To correct this, I added a pleat in the back of the shirt. It doesn't quite make a difference overall design wise so I'm thrilled it worked out. I will be making this blouse again! Maybe the dress version as well...
You're such a natural beauty! Great, casual outfit!
