I don't know what's been into me lately...I've been wearing an odd amount of pants. Right now I'm thinking back to the time where I seriously thought I would never wear flared jeans again. The fit on these Paige jeans are incredible though! I couldn't resist. It's good to mix it up once in a while, right?

As much as I love Nasty Gal, they don't always have my size. Since seeing that the Nasty Gal dress was out (this post), I started searching for another. If something is out on Nasty Gal, I check ASOS and vice versa. I was a bit lucky! Can't wait till it gets here!!

Ahh, change of color. Darker hair feels more right. Crazy how something as simple as hair color can make you feel different.Also, have we been liking some music with each post? I'm obsessed with this song, video, girl, her shoes, etc...Oh Land!

When I'm sad, bummed, or even just bored, I like to get creative. It takes your mind off of whatever is going on. Completely occupied. I think that's why I've been so much more into sewing and my blog. I find creative outlets very important to peoples health. What do you all do when you are feeling down?

Who needs a boyfriend photographer when you have a 7 year old brother! It was his idea to sit, and his idea to look this way, then that way...I dubbed him the creative director for today. He also told me to look "affisticated" (and no, I didn't tell him that its really sophisticated.) We've had some pretty fortunate weather this past week. Although, while I was enjoying my day today, there is a sad part of me wishing the best for everyone who is currently in Japan and any area effected by the quake. Stay strong!

After much lusting over printed coat after coat I decided that I would take the jump and make my own. The usual routine of hunting to find the right coat didn't seem as satisfying as sewing my own. So six hours later, $37.99 spent, and faux fur covering the floor, my journey was complete. And yes, it was every bit as satisfying as shopping (and more) after I slipped my arms into each sleeve, to find a finished project of my own vision rather than buying one. Stoked!
