Come Black Friday, you will never find me stepping foot in a store. And with everyone putting their deals online as well as Cyber Monday, rest assured I will be on my laptop/phone keeping my eyes peeled for deals. I don't like to buy things just because they are on sale, but being a sewist makes shopping difficult. I often won't buy because I know I could make it. But if the item is on sale, how much am I really saving? You must consider the time it takes to make a garment, unless it's a passion project of some kind. Sometimes it makes sense to buy!
